Algonquin Provincial Park
Ontario's oldest and
most popular park...
Enjoy 2000 kilometers of canoe and portage routes, backpacking
trails and complete information services available at both of
Algonquin Park's East and the West Gate Information Centres on
Highway 60.
In Spring - Enjoy superb fishing plus the best moose viewing in the province along Highway 60 in the Park in May. The spring colours are also a real treat - offering subtle hues with a unique beauty of its own.
In the Fall - Of course the fall colours are spectacular and this time of year is one of the best, less busy and bug-free with cooler temps and the stores in the Park open to Thanksgiving.
In Winter - There are three superb cross-country ski trails and one dogsled trail in the Highway 60 Corridor which is well maintained throughout the winter.
