When I called to explain that we needed the directions a bit early because we were combining our week at the cottage with a week of interior camping beforehand, the information was forwarded to me right away. The description of the cottage was spot on and the ease of application made the process really simple."

"The caretaker for Turtle Island was very friendly and helpful. One day the water pump lost its prime. He was over right away to fix it. He was good about warning us about the bears in the neighbourhood and it was a good thing he did. A mom and her cubs went right past our window at 6 a.m. one day and an adolescent came halfway up the causeway another day. My 11 year old saw the 500 pound head into the bush just off the cycling trail too. Very exciting but harmless because we never left any food or garbage out so we had nothing they wanted. We loved the booklet the owners left with the history of the cottage and all the interesting books on the geology and animals, birds etc. in the area. It was terrific not to have a TV or Electronic games to distract us. We really enjoyed the board games, cards and water colour paints that were left for us to use."
