This lovely, bright, well-built and maintained three-bedroom cottage on Clearwater Lake is the place to create wonderful holiday memories. The whole family will be comfortable with the two bedrooms on the main level and one on the upper level, easy access to the cottage from the level driveway, the large, level, grassy property with sandy waterfront that is great for children, and the option of sleeping space for the teenagers in the guest cabin over the garage.
Pay It Forward is a year-round cottage with large windows that look out to the water from each of the living room, sunroom and master bedroom. Two decks with lawn furniture also face the waterfront to provide a choice of sun or shade.
The galley kitchen opens into the dining area with lovely pine floors, where there is a table that will seat eight people. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes an oven, cook top, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. A cozy sunroom with futon and easy chairs leads off the dining area and is a comfortable place to relax when indoors. There is also a spacious living room with television, DVD player and VCR and a great view of the water.
Two bedrooms are on the main level - each with a double bed. There is a bathroom, with shower, and a small office on this level as well. Upstairs the master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an en-suite with a comfortable old-fashioned bathtub. Off this bedroom is a small sitting room with a romantic view of the lake, while a skylight in the bedroom ceiling provides a view of the stars above. For more choice in sleeping locations, there is a guest room (with two double beds) in the bunkie over the garage, where teenagers may enjoy their own space.
The water in Clearwater Lake is just like its name - clear and clean. The people who live and cottage on this lake would like to keep it that way and so ask that any motor boats coming to the lake be first cleaned well to prevent the addition of zebra mussels. Pay It Forward Cottage comes with a paddleboat and rowboat for your use. The large sandy beach, shallow entry to the lake and firm sandy lake bottom are a real treat. Swimmers may enjoy heading out to the nearby island to search for blueberries, and the lake offers various islands and bays to explore - much which is undeveloped Crown Land.

Falls, boat cruises on the Lake Muskoka at Gravenhurst, Santa's
Village in Bracebridge, the Trent-Severn Waterway, and Casino Rama.
