Completed last October, The White House offers a view of MacLean Lake from most of its rooms. At 2600 sq. ft., this cottages provides space for everyone: four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a family room, and on the lower level, a recreation room equipped with a pool table, and access to the outside.

The main floor features a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and an island. The family room is located off the kitchen so the cook can be part of the action. A deck, ideal for enjoying an early morning cup of coffee or simply relaxing, is accessed from the family room. The living room with a gas fireplace, a separate dining room, a two-piece powder room and laundry, are also on the main floor.

Located on the second level, the master bedroom includes a king-size bed, walk-in closet, a five-piece ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, and separate shower. The second and third bedrooms offer queen size beds, and the fourth bedroom has two sets of single bunk beds. A four-piece bathroom completes the second level.

For a teen getaway or family fun, the recreation room on the lower level, with two-piece bathroom, pool table, television, VCR and DVD, is the perfect venue.

A gentle slope and path lead to the lakefront. A gradual entry into the water and a firm sand bottom are perfect for children and grandchildren. The water is four feet deep at the dock, and there is room to dock three boats. A boat launch, just minutes away, is located on the road to the cottage. For evening outdoor entertainment, a fire pit awaits.

The White House is a short drive from Coldwater and Orillia. Area activities and attractions include dining, shopping, golfing, Casino Rama, the Opera House in Orillia, and the Big Chute marine railway where you can watch as boats are carried almost sixty feet up and down the Severn River, en route to Georgian Bay or Lake Ontario. While there, you can also take a self-guided tour of the old and new Big Chute hydro generating stations, view the interpretive displays and visit the Nautical Nook gift shop.

Comfort and space abound at The White House. A perfect family vacation spot!
