Along the peaceful and tranquil Harp Lake sits Honeybear Cottage, a charming and exquisite family cottage, ideal for a family reunion or just a relaxing holiday.
Surrounded by stunning scenery, Honeybear Cottage offers a cozy and comfortable 2-storey home with shallow and sandy waterfront. The main floor features the master bedroom with pinewood wall behind the bed decorated with a king size bed and a large closet. Across from this bedroom, a four-piece bathroom is located with special seat in the shower. As part of the decoration, a unique antique cabinet holds the ceramic sink.
This main floor also features the open concept fully equipped kitchen with an island with 2 stools. Adjacent to this area is the living room tastefully decorated with leather couches and equipped with a remote control gas fireplace, an IPod player, a CD player and a round dining table for 6.
A walk-out glass door connects the indoors to the balcony where a table for 6 and a barbeque are to be found for enjoyable summer afternoons overlooking the beautiful view of Harp Lake.
The lower level contains the second part of the cottage, featuring a family room with pinewood ceiling, a wood fireplace, comfortable sofas, a Television with satellite service, a DVD player and bookshelf with a collection of more than 400 DVD movies available for your entertainment.
Two bedrooms and a 3-piece bathroom are also part of this lower level. One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed, a dresser, a computer desk with access to Internet and an electric fireplace. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, a dresser and a closet rack.
A walk-out door in the family room area connects the interior to a deck in the front yard decorated with furniture and screen windows. A hot tub sits in a corner, perfect for a nice and relaxing afternoon. Down at the water you will find a firepit, a swim raft with ladder, canoe and paddleboat.This cottage is not ideal for small children. Personal watercraft and sea-doos are not allowed on Harp Lake.
Huntsville offers good restaurants, live theatre, and a quaint downtown for shopping. With Algonquin Park less than an hour away there are many trails to hike, or perhaps even catch a glimpse of some wildlife.
With the cottage located close to many winter activities including snowmobiling trails and skiing, the cottage can be enjoyed in the summer and winter.
