This unique two-storey cottage, built out of western red cedar logs, sits among the trees with a panoramic view of Virtue Lake.

The large open concept main floor features a living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen complete with island and three stools.  The main floor also features two bedrooms, each with a double bed. On this floor your will also find a three-piece bathroom.

The large deck that runs the full length of the cottage can be accessed through sliding doors from the dining room. Here you will enjoy a great view of the lake while sitting in the porch swing with a great book. A smaller deck can be accessed through the kitchen and offers a barbeque at one end for preparing your favourite meal. At the other end, a 6-person hot tub is ready for you to share with friends. You can enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the balconies and decks.

Upstairs from the living room is a private loft area where the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are located. There is also a sitting area that overlooks the living area. The bedroom has a king size bed, and the vaulted ceilings give this loft an open and welcoming feeling. The master bedroom has its own outdoor balcony with a view of the trees.

Follow a staircase down from the main level to the lower level that has its own deck and view of the lake. The lower level offers a sitting area with TV, a ping pong table and laundry room. There are two bedrooms on this level, one with a queen size bed, and in the other, a bunk bed with double on the bottom and single on top.

As there are a lot of stairs to the lake and the rock face is steep in places, this cottage is not recommended for young children unless they are under close adult supervision.  Levels of stairs climb down the hillside through pretty woodland and past interesting rock formations.  There is a deck to enjoy part way down with a table and chairs for 6. At the lake, there is a floating dock that is suitable for a twenty-foot boat, and extends out from the rocky shoreline into the deeper water. No Jet skis are allowed on this lake.

The cottage is located about ten minutes from the village of Humphrey where there is a convenience store, liquor and beer store as well as a local library. Parry Sound is twenty five minutes away where you will find grocery stores, dining opportunities, quaint shops, the West Parry Sound District Museum, golf courses and the Island Cruises.
