Ontario Cottage Rentals

Location: Vernon Lake, Huntsville, Ontario.

This is the end unit of a three-unit townhouse. Located in a resort-type setting, this cottage has a large deck with Western exposure overlooking Lake Vernon; an ideal setting for watching a great sunset.

The cottage is winterized with electric heat and a gas fireplace. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed and sliding glass doors that open out onto a patio. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is also a new pull-out couch in the living room. The cottage has one and a half bathrooms. Recently, the cottage was painted throughout and new bed spreads and drapes were added. There is a spacious deck that comes with patio furniture and a gas barbeque.

This 3.25 acre peninsula is nicely wooded with pine and birch and features approximately 730 feet of shared waterfront. There is a dock with a slip to tie a boat to and a spot to fish from. There is a large sandy beach on the property which is shared with the other cottagers.

The area offers extensive boating, fishing and exceptional golf in the summer, as well as snowmobiling, cross-country and downhill skiing at nearby Hidden Valley Resort in the winter -- truly a year-round getaway.

The cottage is located approximately two hours north of Toronto and is easily accessible year-round. It is only minutes by car or boat to Deerhurst or shopping in downtown Huntsville.

Dogs must be on a leash and no smoking in the unit.
