If you dream of an idyllic, private, spacious, upscale vacation on
the Trent Water system, do we have the place for you.
Pine Cove Cottage is a 2,600 square foot A frame style Linwood home,
located on the Severn River that ties into the Trent Water System
where endless boating opportunities await. The cottage is situated
on the river but while sunbathing atop the boathouse, you do have a
view of the yachts traveling into the bigger water. The boathouse
comes equipped with a carbon fibre canoe and life jackets as well as
tubes and floating devices. If you require a boat rental or a water
taxi, Tamarack Marina can service your needs.
The property has 350 feet of shoreline, with rocks at the fringe.
Jump or dive off the 15 x 15 foot L-shape dock into the refreshing
water of the Trent. The water is very clean and the fishing is good
for catfish, bass, pickerel, perch and trout. The depth of water at
the dock ranges from 8 to 15 feet.
If privacy is what you are looking for, at this quiet setting you
will only view the neighbours across the lake as the mature trees
and cottage location block all others from sight. Relax outside on
the 900 square foot wrap-around deck. The sounds of the gentle
stream that runs between the decks will add to the serenity of this
majestic escape. The glass railing around the deck ensures that the
wonderful view is not obstructed.
Once inside this breathtaking cottage you will find an open concept
with cathedral ceiling, redwood cedar, and beautiful clay ceramic.
The immense floor-to-ceiling wood fireplace is sure to impress and
will warm your spirits and relax your soul. The three bedrooms each
contain a king size bed, with a whirlpool tub in the four-piece
master ensuite. Another 3-piece bathroom is also available.
For extra space for the children, they may enjoy the loft where you
will find a queen size air mattress, futon, double bed, TV, DVD and
play station. A pool table will help pass the time when you are not
outside enjoying the wonderful landscape. During the summer, extra
sleeping can be found in the Bunkie, which comes equipped with a
queen size bed, futon, two sets of bunk beds, table, fridge, microwave
and balcony for those looking for a bit more privacy.
In the winter you are close to the snowmobile trail and within a
half an hour from three ski hills. During the summer, the Bon Aire
Golf Club is only a twenty-minute drive.
Pets are not allowed at this upscale cottage but may be limited to
stay outside or in the bunkie. Suitable for children over six.
While a picture paints a thousand words, you truly have to see this
cottage to really appreciate the finer things in life. You will not
be disappointed.
