Appliances and furnishings: refrigerator, small stove, small microwave, coffee maker, mixer, kettle, barbeque, ceramic water cooler, picnic table, lawn furniture, chaise lounge, wrap-around deck, television, satellite, stereo, VCR, canoe, paddles, aluminum boat with oars. Please bring your own drinking water (ceramic cooler provided).
If a traditional pine-lined cottage is what you are seeking, Sunshine Cottage will appeal to you. Situated on a large, level lot, this private property is hidden from neighbors on both sides. From the large, wrap-around deck, you have a great view of Riley Lake as you soak up the sun that is plentiful on this lot. If you prefer shade, an electronic canopy can be extended over the deck. As the lot is large and level, there is lots of room to play games, and plenty of spots for hide and seek.
At the lake, you will find a large dock from which to dive into the clear water or cast your fishing line. A rowboat and canoe are provided for you to explore Riley Lake’s many bays or fishing spots. Try your luck in catching bass, pike, perch or crappy. There is even a light to shine your way on the dock at night.
The inside of the cottage has tongue and groove knotty pine and comfortable pine furnishings. Many windows surround the living and dining areas to let in the cool breezes. Ceiling fans are located in each room. If the weather turns chilly, a wood stove will keep you cozy. If you need some indoor entertainment there is satellite television and a VCR.
Two spacious bedrooms run off the living area. One has a double bed and one has two twin beds. The kitchen opens into the dining area where more windows give you a view of the tree-lined yard.
You should come home from this cottage refreshed and relaxed - ready to plan your next cottage vacation!
