Welcome to luxurious accommodations and fabulous golf too! This cottage resort setting in the very heart of Muskoka offers it all. Enjoy your own place in upscale accommodations, a sandy beach with a variety of water toys to explore the lake, hiking in the wilderness.
Each cottage is beautifully appointed and furnished. Stainless steel appliances and Corian counters will make meal preparation a pleasure. Stools at the breakfast bar are always a favourite place to gather and have a relaxed cup of coffee. Sliding doors off the kitchen and dining area lead to a screened-in Muskoka Room and out to a large deck with a barbeque and outdoor furniture.
The vaulted pine, tongue and groove ceilings with exposed beams add a true Muskoka flavour. The beautiful, floor to ceiling stone fireplace will take the chill off cool evenings while you enjoy the large flat screen satellite television. Two tastefully decorated bedrooms are located on the main level, along with a four-piece bathroom with its own jet tub. You will find a king bed in one and twin singles in the other, complete with linens. Upstairs, overlooking the living area below, is the third bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite four-piece bath. For those who cannot quite leave the office, there is a small desk on this upper landing and internet connection is available.
The large, shared lakefront area offers a variety in shoreline, including a sandy beach and a shallow entrance to the water, along with kayaks, paddleboats and canoes to use. You will not find motors disturbing this quiet, peaceful lake.
If you would like dinner or lunch out, the Clubhouse is a short walk away.
Although golf is not included it can be enjoyed at a reduced rate with all the privileges of The Diamond "In the Ruff" members (please note: collared-shirt dress code is enforced). This nine-hole course will test your skills, and the range will allow that extra practice to perfect your technique. Truly a Diamond in the Ruff!
There is always something to do at Cottages at Diamond "in the Ruff" no matter what season it may be! For the winter enthusiasts cross country ski trails and snowshoe trails are right on site. Snowmobile trails can be accessed directly from the property. Within a 30 minute drive enjoy
downhill skiing, cross country skiing, or tubing. If you would prefer to stay in inside enjoy the cozy ambience, comfortable seating and propane fireplace all while taking in a good book.
