Ontario Cottage Rentals

Location: Healey Lake, Bracebridge, Ontario.

Recently built, Woodcrafters Country House is a beautiful 3+1 bedroom cottage, located on Healey Lake, near Bracebridge. The heart of the cottage is the spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen area. Here, especially, you will notice the expertly crafted maple floors, pine ceilings and doors that are featured throughout the cottage. The dining area seats 8, and the well-equipped kitchen, complete with an island, makes for easy meal preparation while entertaining. A door from the living room leads to a very large deck that will quickly become a favourite spot for that morning cup of coffee, or to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed and 3-pc. en-suite bathroom; the second and third bedrooms each offer a double bed, and the lower level bedroom has: 2 single beds and one futon. Also located on the main level, are a 2 piece and 4 piece bathroom.

Steps from the deck lead to a path over the level lot to the waterfront. Water shoes will allow you to walk into the shallow water at the shore where the bottom is silty and weedy and not good for swimming. The water is 3-4 feet deep at the end of the dock, but the best swimming can be had by floating out some distance from the shore on the inflatable boat. For those in your group who like to fish, there are large and small mouth bass in the lake. A fire pit is located near the lake.

As well as being very comfortable for time "at the lake" during the summer, Woodcrafter's Country House is an ideal destination during the winter months as one of the main snowmobile trails is nearby, and there is cross country skiing in the area.

Pricing:

• $1,650 per week, year-round.
• $850 per holiday long weekend during off-season (three nights.)
• $800 per three-night stay during off-season.
• $600 refundable security deposit required.
