Location: Harp Lake, Huntsville, Muskoka, Ontario.

This year-round retreat in a quiet location on Harp Lake is located 7 minutes from Huntsville, 5 minutes from Hidden Valley ski area, and 3 minutes from the snowmobile trails.

The 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage has a true Muskoka feel. With lots of areas to explore outside, and a great feeling inside, this is the cottage to get away to.

The living room and dining room areas, both with a great view of the lake, provide comfortable space for the whole family to gather at the end of the day, or to watch a movie. Dining can be enjoyed at the grand harvest table, and there is a large stone gas fireplace to take the chill off the cooler evenings.

The fully equipped kitchen offers a fridge, stove and dishwasher, making meal preparation and clean up easy. There is a barbeque just outside the front door along with a picnic table, for dining al fresco.

Two bedrooms at opposite ends of the cottage have queen size beds. The second bedroom offers a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a twin on the top as well as another twin bed, the third bedroom offers 2 twin beds. The first bathroom is a two-piece, combined with laundry facilities. The second bathroom is a four-piece.

With a large level area down by the water, the family will have lots of room to play some outdoor games, or enjoy a nice picnic. The firepit is located in this area, perfect for toasting marshmallows or enjoying a campfire sing-along.

The waterfront features a unique stone retaining wall that runs the full length of the shoreline. This is an ideal area for young children to play in the sandy shallow bay. As the children play, adults can sit on the dock and enjoy a great view of Harp Lake. Personal watercraft are not allowed on Harp Lake.

Huntsville offers good restaurants, live theatre, and a quaint downtown for shopping. With Algonquin Park less than an hour away there are many trails to hike, or perhaps even catch a glimpse of some wildlife.

The cottage is located close to many winter activities, the snowmobile trails are within a short distance, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and tobogganing can be enjoyed at Arrowhead Provincial Park. Tubing is close by at Rockridge Tubing Park. Or enjoy downhill skiing at Hidden Valley Ski Hill. Harp Lake cottage makes a great home base in which to enjoy all these great winter activities.
