Two neighbouring cottages may be rented
together for larger groups.

Appliances and furnishings:
each cottage has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, television with
local stations, DVD player, wood stove, barbeque, patio furniture,
and fire pit. One cottage has a paddleboat and the other
has an aluminium
boat with oars.
Mark's Hideaway F107is a three-bedroom cottage situated on a
large level lot. The cottage has a spacious, open-concept
living, dining and kitchen area. A screened
porch, off the kitchen, provides another space in which to enjoy the
cooling breezes and a view of the lake - a great spot to
enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Patio doors off the living area
lead to a deck across the front of the cottage. This will
become a favourite spot in which to relax in the swinging chair or
chaise lounge while supper is being prepared on the gas barbeque.
Three bedrooms are located off the living area. The first has a queen-sized bed, the second a double and the third has two single beds. There is one three-piece bathroom with a shower.
Steps lead down a gradual slope to the lake where the depth of the water is very shallow for a long way out. The bottom of the lake is firm and sandy and there are some weeds. There is a second deck located at the waterfront, and here a table, chairs and umbrella provide a place to watch while the children wade in the water. The children will also enjoy the water toys that are available at the cottage.
There is a fire pit at back of the cottage, along with picnic tables and a horse shoe pit.
Ron's Hideaway F108 is a two-bedroom cottage located directly beside Mark's Hideaway.
The first bedroom in this cottage has a double bed and the second has two bunks. There is a three-piece bathroom with shower. A bunkie with double bed is located close to the lake but only steps from the main building.
Ron's Hideaway is finished with pine throughout. There is a small kitchen with seating for four at the kitchen table. A door leads off the kitchen to a screened porch with a great view of the water. Here there is space for another table and four chairs.
A deck at the front of the cottage faces the water and holds a gas barbeque, table with umbrella and Muskoka chairs. A second deck area located above the bunkie provides a great sunning spot and view of the lake.
A few steps lead down to the waterfront where a long dock
stretches out to where the water is deep enough to jump in and swim.
An anchored floating raft serves as an ideal swimming
destination. If fishing is of interest, an aluminum boat with
oars is provided with the
cottage.
Waterfront: total of 200 feet of
frontage on Foot Lake with sandy bottom.

Hospital: 25 minutes to Huntsville Hospital
General Store: within ten minutes, in Novar
