Situated on two-and-one-third acres with 340 feet of frontage, this newly constructed two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage offers easy access to Georgian Bay and great boating. For those with a boat, a marina is conveniently located across the bay, with gas, convenience store and a restaurant. Nearby is Killbear Provincial Park with hiking trails.
This bright, open concept cottage with high ceilings has two bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and the other with a double bed. A four-piece bathroom is located close by. The kitchen offers most of the conveniences of home. The breakfast bar with two bar stools is the ideal spot to oversee meal preparation. The dining table with seating for four has access to the large deck where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee and a view of the water. Also on the deck are a picnic table and a couple of Muskoka chairs, as well as an umbrella for shade. For a quick and delicious meal, there is a barbecue available.
The living room has plenty of seating for everyone in the family to curl up on to watch the large screen television with Shaw cable, or slip your favourite movie into the DVD.
The air conditioning makes the cottage very comfortable on those hot summer nights, allowing you to enjoy a good night's sleep.
The grounds are primarily smooth rocks that taper down to the waterfront. A natural rocky path leads to the shallow entry for swimming. Water shoes are recommended. A canoe is provided for exploring the bay.
The dock is 4 ft. x 50 ft. and those bringing a boat would have access to one side of the dock for tying up.
About 30 minutes from the cottage is the Town of Parry Sound which has a variety of restaurants and shops, the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts, the Festival of the Sound (runs for three weeks in July/August), the West Parry Sound District Museum, the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame and golf courses. For an extra special excursion, take the 30,000 Island boat cruises from the wharf in Parry Sound to explore the many islands of Georgian Bay.
Come and enjoy Cat Tales cottage, Killbear Provincial Park and the Georgian Bay area.
