Chickadee Creek is a cozy bungalow accommodates up to six guests, offering a quiet natural setting for small family groups. The large level lawn provides an ideal space for playing a variety of lawn games. This private escape is great for those seeking a peaceful and secluded escape from the busy city life. Although this property is not waterfront, a small stream fronts onto the edge of the property.The cottage offers three bedrooms. The master bedroom features a queen bed, french doors leading out to the back yard, and a four-piece ensuite including a toilet, sink and shower/tub combo. The second bedroom offers two single beds, and the third bedroom offers a queen bed. The main bath features a sink, toilet, and shower/tub combo, with air jets.
The kitchen is well equipped with essentials such as a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, utensils and dishes. A large island offers extra prep space as well as extra seating. The dining table and island combined accommodate six people.
The bay windows provide generous amounts of natural sunlight through this open concept bungalow. The living room offers a couch, loveseat and chaise, along with a TV and DVD player, for those rainy days. A stackable washer and dryer are also provided.
Sitting on almost four acres, this open lot is perfect for furry friends to run around. A firepit is also included for guests tp enjoy those calming evening bonfires. The large flat lawn is ideal for families to take part in various lawn games, such as badminton or bocce, great activities for all ages. A picnic table and chairs offer a spot to create a mouth-watering barbequed meal surrounded by the simplicity of nature.
A small stream fronts onto the edge of the property, however this property is not considered waterfront.
Nearby guests can find a variety of local activities such as Eagle Lake golf course, ATV or snowmobile trails, and High Rock Lookout. There are plenty of areas for fishing nearby such as Lake Bernard beach & park. The nearest town, Sunridge, is only 12 km/15 min. The nearest beach is on Lake Bernard, the Lion’s Park Beach 12 kms/15 min, and there is another public beach on Lake Bernard Park just 17km/21 min away. Lion’s Park has a boat launch into Lake Bernard (not connected to the property). F572 Chickadee Creek offers a remote escape for those looking to wind down and relax with options of some nearby activities close by.
