The open concept kitchen, dining and living rooms, with warm pine walls, look out onto the river which has more of a lake feel because of its size and width. There is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The living space has an attractive dining table that can seat six people, a wall mounted smart TV and comfortable leather couches, making it the perfect gathering place rain or shine. For added comfort, the cottage also has central heating and cooling.
The cottage will sleep 4 adults and 2 children with three charming bedrooms, two featuring queen beds and the third a single over double bunk bed. Off the living room is a spacious 4 piece bathroom with a stackable washer and dryer.
Start your mornings off on the expansive deck, cup of coffee in hand, savoring the views and sounds of unspoiled nature. A large barbeque and patio furniture are perfect for an outdoor meal or loosen up the muscles in the hot tub beside the deck (from May to Thanksgiving). With southwestern exposure, enjoy both basking in the sun during the long summer days and being spoiled at night by lovely lingering sunsets.
The cottage waterfront is ideal for a young family. The grassy shoreline features a shallow water entrance and lots of room to play or roast marshmallows over the fire pit. Guests are welcome to take out the canoe, kayak or paddle boat for a leisurely river tour.
Fishing in the area is fantastic! Largemouth and smallmouth bass, rock bass, pickerel and pike can be found in abundance. Forget the boat, plenty of fish have been caught right off the 20’ dock.
Just steps from the cottage are a small park with swings and a volleyball court, scenic nature trails - great for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Snowmobile and ATV trails are also nearby for year-round fun.
Located a short distance away is the town of Dunchurch which has groceries, gas, propane, ice, LCBO, and Kawartha ice cream. Within 20 minutes are some fabulous eateries, like Tanner’s English Pub and the renown Swiss Country House. It’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy!
**Check-in: after 4:00pm and Check-out: before 10:00am
**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and paper towels.
** Linens: Guests are required to bring all linens -

**Adult life jackets are supplied. Vacationers must bring their own children's life jackets due to safety and liability concerns
