The warmth and charm of this beautiful private lakefront cottage exudes throughout this little piece of heaven.
Stepping into the large foyer, the lovely terrazzo floor tile is a warm welcome to the start of any vacation. The expansive and bright open concept kitchen is a cook's dream providing all of the amenities of home while the family gathers around the large dining table.
Wall to wall windows along the front of the cottage with a southwest exposure supplies an endless panoramic view of beautiful Otter Lake. The floor to ceiling fireplace in the large living room with seating for eight, is an inviting spot for a good old fashion evening of family chats or perhaps engage in a board game or two.
The five generous sized bedrooms are cheerfully decorated with modern decor. The master bedroom with a king-sized bed has a convenient 2 piece ensuite while the remaining two bedrooms have a queen in one and a double in the other. The main floor 4 piece bathroom is nicely located between the living and bedroom areas.
On the lower level, the walk-out basement is bright and open offering a family room area with a large screen TV and a DVD player. There is also a ping pong table and a wood stove. Two other bedrooms are located off of the family room offering further sleeping quarters with a queen bed and a double bottom/single top bunk bed in one room while the 5th bedroom has a set of single beds. A three piece bathroom services the downstairs area.
Outside, enjoy the hot tub, kids swing set, sandy beach, dock, two kayaks, and a canoe or gather around the large fire-pit to roast marshmallows. The wrap around deck hosts a picnic table, table for two for a romantic dinner perhaps, or sit back and take in the breeze from the lake in the comfortable Muskoka chairs.
