Guests entering this lake house are greeted by a large, open concept living space, meticulously designed with charming interior décor and a bright, transitional styles that encapsulates a modern atmosphere that will leave guests feeling related, and at home.
In the main room, a fully equipped kitchen offers a stove with oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and plenty of serving bowls and baking dishes, ensuring everything that may be needed is readily available to prepare a meal. A bar counter offers seating for three, perfect for serving drinks or adult socializing. Additionally, find a dining table in the main living space with seating for up to eight guests, ensure all guests can be seated comfortably.
Across from the kitchen, two couches are situated across from each other, next to a large window offering views of the property and water. Uniquely placed, these couches are ideal for a family game night, or lower key activities such as curling up with a book or watching a sunset across the lake.
At the end of the hall, the master bedroom can be found. This spacious room spans the width of the house, offering a king size bed, large closet area, reading corner and a private, 4pc ensuite. The cozy atmosphere of the master bedroom provides exterior views of the property through windows all around. Additionally, a third skylight above the large closet space helps illuminate the bright, airy interior of the space.
Additionally, a second bedroom can be found. Featuring a queen bed, this space offers plenty of room, with views out to the porch. Across the hall, a 3pc bathroom with shower is available. Additionally, this bathroom also contains a skylight, ensuring that the bright summer sun is always accessible, no matter where you are in this lake house.
Across the hallway, a tv room can be found, offering a cozy spot to catch up on favourite programs. With a skylight, this room is bright, while still retaining a cozy atmosphere. Should it be needed, this could can also be folded out to a queen-sized, pull-out bed, offering sleeping accommodations for an additional two guests.
In the back yard, a stone patio is available for guests wanting to optimize their time outdoors. With a propane BBQ, and an outdoor dining table with seating accommodations for six, guests can enjoy privacy, while being surrounded by flawless landscaping, and bright flowery gardens. A large hedge surrounds this lot, ensuring outdoor privacy even with neighbours nearby.
Out front, a spacious outdoor porch offers seating accommodations for six, with two outdoor recliners, a sofa, and a rocking chair. This space is ideal for a breezy summer night. Also out front, an outdoor firepit is available for guests. Surrounded by four Muskoka chairs, guests can gather outdoors for quality time together.
Across the road, 22 steps lead guests to a 17x30 foot lakeside platform. With solar lights, guests can enjoy time by the water all evening. With north facing exposure, experience fabulous sunsets over the lake. This shallow waterfront is just under a foot deep and is situated on a large sandbar, extending over 100 feet into the lake.
In the off-season, guests can enjoy plenty of activities. For cool autumn nights, curl up around the fire. Experience many of the nearby parks and recreational hiking trails that offer the ideal experience to witness the fall colours in their prime. In the winter, enjoy activities such as ice fishing, or snowmobiling on Lake Simcoe.
Nearby beaches offer the change to get out and explore the surrounding area. Discover farmer’s markets, the nearby city of Sutton. See a movie at Imagine Cinemas or explore the Georgina Centre of Arts and Culture.
